Amy Dain is one of the founders and a Managing Partner of The Wellspring Group, Inc. She is seasoned and well-connected within the IT industry and specializes in advanced technology searches across multiple industries for both Fortune 500 and mid-sized business sectors. In addition to building and leading Wellspring's Account Management team, she also streamlines our internal search and select process for both our Account Management and Recruitment teams in order to enhance our capabilities of providing an exceptional search experience for Wellspring's clientele.
Prior to launching The Wellspring Group in 2001, Amy worked for Command Systems, Linc Systems/Condor, DMR Consulting (Fujitsu), and TSR Consulting. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Communication. She is also recognized in the National Registry of Who's Who in Executives and Professionals 2004-2005, and is an active member of both the Society for Information Management (SIM) and Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).
Amy lives in Easton, CT with her husband, son and twin daughters.
Melissa Peirce is one of the founders and a Managing Partner of The Wellspring Group, Inc. With a strong and successful career as a Senior Information Technology Recruiter, Melissa provides keen insight into recruiting and hiring best practices for IT industry leaders. In addition to building and leading The Wellspring Group's recruiting team, she continually analyzes the company's systems and database to identify opportunities for improvement.
Prior to establishing Wellspring in 2001, Melissa worked for Apple One Employment, Sullivan and Cogliano, and Command Systems.
Melissa is a Cum Laude graduate of St. Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. She lives with her husband, son, and daughter in Topsfield, MA, where she is recognized as a community leader due to her work with several charitable organizations.
Jay Peirce joined The Wellspring Group, Inc. in 2003 as the Senior Financial Officer. His unique experience has proven extremely valuable in designing effective, cost-saving strategies for clients. In addition, while at Wellspring, he also developed a plan to facilitate improved efficiencies and controlled growth. This allows the company to consistently provide a high level of service while maintaining a low overhead.
Jay began his career with Fisher Scientific where he managed the Northeast region, increasing revenue by more than 40% in his first year. He quickly moved up the ladder into the role of Vice President of the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Division, where he was recognized as the youngest VP in the history of the organization.
Jay received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maine. He lives in the Boston, MA area with his wife and two children.
Brian Vincelette joined The Wellspring Group, Inc. in 2003 as the Senior Operations Officer. He facilitates quality control measures and engages clients in ways that help us better understand their needs and minimize their sourcing issues. One of his most valuable strengths includes the ability to understand the people, the process, and the technical needs early on in a project to provide the most efficient and targeted results.
Prior to joining Wellspring, Brian had a successful career as an IT consultant working within the financial, insurance, manufacturing, and retail sectors. He helped clients define, create, execute, and monitor project plans in various locations globally. He also helped to ensure verifiable scope definition and effective change management as well as facilitated team communications, cost control tracking, and risk management.
Brian received his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Systems Management and his Master's in Business Administration in Finance, both from the University of Connecticut. He is an active member of the Society for Information Management (SIM) and lives in Easton, CT with his wife and three children.
Joe Miglizzi has more than 35 years of experience in opening new clients, cultivating existing ones and developing long-term relationships with key hiring decision-makers and recruiters. He is highly knowledgeable in permanent placements and hiring contractors for a variety of industries, including financial services, insurance, telecommunications, pre-IPOs, and hi tech.
Prior to joining Wellspring, Joe founded a permanent placement recruiting firm that specialized in software/hardware engineering and internet web developers. He also worked on retainer for a privately held IT consulting company, where he recruited, hired, trained, developed, and mentored other recruiters.
A graduate of the University of Hartford with degrees in Business and Philosophy, he belongs to the New Haven and Waterbury Chamber of Commerce and is a former member of the Connecticut Data Processing Association. He is also a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) as well as a former chairman of the Connecticut Society of Personnel Association.
Deb Hemphill joined The Wellspring Group, Inc. in 2003 as an Account Administrator. She is responsible for prepping candidates' resumes, checking references, and preparing contracts. She is known for her efficiency and attention to detail.
Deb began her administrative professional career with a major insurance company. She was recognized for her speed and accuracy and was quickly promoted to a position in which she provided support to senior executives. She joined the IT recruiting industry in 1998 as a receptionist and was then promoted to Administrative Professional supporting technical recruiters, sales representatives, and senior management. While there, Deb received three Outstanding Achievement Awards for her strong work ethic and dedication.
Deb and her husband have five grown sons. The couple lives in Connecticut.
Carmen Navedo joined The Wellspring Group, Inc. as a Recruiting Sourcer in July 2007 to provide essential support to staff members in their recruiting efforts. Her responsibilities include tracking and disseminating information that helps staff members match the right people with the right job opportunities.
Prior to joining Wellspring, Carmen was in the financial services field. She brings her strong analytical and organizational skills to the Wellspring team. We welcome her enthusiasm and efficiency.
Carmen resides in southern California and enjoys reading, swimming, and cycling.
Ester Berry joined The Wellspring Group, Inc. as a Recruiting Sourcer in September 2005 to provide essential support to staff members in their recruiting efforts. Ester was promoted and asked to join the IT Recruiting Team in 2006 after showing aptitude and interest in the area of Technical Recruitment.
Ester is a native New Yorker with more than 15 years of experience working with Fortune 500 companies in the technology field. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology from the University of Houston. Ester also brings to her job extensive experience in office automation services, including training, design, and support of computer equipment and software. A true people person, Ester is a highly motivated team player with a strong customer focus.
Ester resides in southern California with her husband and son. When not sitting behind the computer, Ester enjoys shopping, reading, and is active as Team Mom for her son's tee-ball and flag football teams.
Suzanne Kerin has been with The Wellspring Group as an IT Recruiter since September 2005. She has placed candidates for a variety of clients, including UBS, Goldman Sachs, XL Capital, Online Resources, and Comcast. She has also completed searches for contract, contract to hire and permanent positions in several categories, including Systems Analysts, Business Analysts, Software Developers, Project Managers, and Senior Level Managers.
Prior to joining Wellspring, Suzanne worked for more than 10 years in IT recruiting with a strong focus on financial services. She conducted searches for clients across the nation, including Wachovia, KPMG, Korn Ferry International, and Heidrick and Struggles.
Suzanne graduated from Union College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and then went on to Columbia University to earn a Master's of Science degree in Organizational Psychology. She lives in Connecticut with her husband and two children, and enjoys skiing, tennis, and sailing.
Joe Apoldo joined The Wellspring Group in August of 2006 with almost 15 years of IT recruiting management experience. His background in technical recruiting spans many different industries, including financial services, insurance, banking, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and healthcare. Utilizing a creative approach to meet the ever-changing challenges of our industry, he works hard to fill all types of in-demand IT roles ranging from junior helpdesk through executive level positions.
Joe has established a strong reputation for developing long-standing relationships with the candidates he works with. He often receives many referrals as well repeat opportunities through his candidates due to their appreciation of his professional and conscientious approach to his job.
He currently lives in New Jersey with his wife and two children.
Kim is a seasoned and professional Business Development Executive with sixteen years experience developing, cultivating and nurturing high-level client relationships in the Information Technology and Clinical/Pharmaceutical consulting industry. She has achieved and continues to foster a highly successful career selling professional services coupled with managing sales and recruiting executives. Kim has targeted expertise in new business development, solutions delivery, customer relationship management as well as off-shore delivery cost solutions.
Kim's niche sales and management expertise includes clients in the financial, pharmaceutical and biotechnology marketplaces. She is an active member of DIA, RAPS, NJIT, SHRM, SIM and several clinical/pharmaceutical user groups in the Greater New York City area. She attends the annual DIA conference as well as quarterly SIM and RAPS functions in NY/NJ/CT/PA.
Kim has made instrumental strides in the development of clients such as: sanofi Pasteur, The NASDAQ Stock Market, Eli Lilly, Novartis, Standard & Poors and UBS.
She is a native to New Jersey and enjoys traveling, tennis, reading and gardening.
Stacy Gajda joined The Wellspring Group as an IT Recruiter in April 2008 bringing with her over 4 years of recruiting experience.
Prior to joining The Wellspring Group, Stacy worked at Keane Inc., REL Consultancy Group, AT&T Global Network Services, Mercedes-Benz USA and Walt Disney World. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the School of Computer Science and Information Systems at Pace University in Office Information Systems and a Ducktorate Degree in Theme Park Studies from Disney University.
She currently lives in Connecticut with her husband and two daughters.
Caroline is a seasoned and professional Senior Clinical Recruiter with 9 years of clinical research industry experience. She excels in the recruitment of "hard to find" clinical executives with a successful and proven track record. Prior to joining The Wellspring Group, Caroline was a nine year veteran in the recruitment and management of Pharmaceutical executives on a national basis. Her candidate base and networking capabilities extend far beyond the Greater New York Metro area.
Caroline is a member of the DIA, ACRP, and SOCRA and she is an active member in attending all Pharmaceutical conferences and an advocate in the local Pharmaceutical community.
She is native to New Jersey and in her free time enjoys scuba diving, traveling, gardening and cooking.
